BIOGRAPHY
Paul French is a Director of Forensics at Sync Forensics. Mr. French has over 25 years of experience in the field of digital forensics, following a 13 year career in the U.S. Air Force. His military training and experience inform his forensics investigations in the areas of felony criminal matters, counterintelligence operations, anti-terrorism training and forensic computer analysis.

Mr. French has built and managed e-discovery practices from the ground up, spearheading large-scale electronic discovery engagements for law firms, Fortune 1000 corporations, and government entities across the globe. He is adept at planning and executing large-scale electronic collections and managing high visibility e-discovery engagements.

To better serve his clients and their specific needs, Mr. French has authored over 75 custom software utilities to convert, search, analyze and present data from a variety of platforms. His body of work includes matters related to spoliation, theft of intellectual property, SEC violations, document recovery/validation, and employee/employer misconduct.

Mr. French has provided written expert declarations and verbal testimony in over a dozen depositions and court proceedings. A respected leader in the industry, he has participated in think tanks and national panels to help create best practices and develop unified terminology for the field. Mr. French has written articles, appeared on television, and presented at conferences, corporate retreats and CLE sessions to educate professionals and consumers alike on various facets of information discovery and protection.
